Frequently Asked Wedding Questions
What about parking and security?
Twin Oaks offers plenty of parking without carpooling for over 300 guests. Security is present at Twin oaks at no additional fee unless you deem additional security services are necessary to police your guests.
Can I decorate the grounds or are there any restrictions?
We highly encourage the use of decorations (see photo gallery) with our design team. We make each wedding Celebration truly Unique. Candles are allowed (fully enclosed flame) inside the Tented Reception Pavilion. We do not allow any stapling, nailing, tacking, or taping.
Use of zip ties and florist wire is applicable. You can bring bird seed, real or silk rose peddles and rice or eco rice, but please keep the sparklers at home.
I see in the package "Design Center" what is that?
The Estate offers unique décor items (see photo gallery) included in you package for use at your Ceremony and Reception (see package for details on each item). You may also use them for guest tables, sign-in tables, Escort tables etc. At no additional fee.
White floor length linens and white linen napkins come in package #1. Also, hundreds of linen choices are available at a very affordable cost, starting at $15.00 per table. During your second meeting (Design meeting) you will be able to play with all of the décor options; this can really help keep the budget in check.
What does Coordination include?
There are three meetings at Twin Oaks.
First Meeting: Organized Bride
Meeting Two: Design & Menus, plus questions and answers.
Meeting Three: Drawing of Site plans, review all paperwork, make changes, final guest counts. Have a lot a fun!
Do I (or my family) arrive to the venue on my wedding day to set-up?
Twin Oaks is a full service Venue. All of your décor items (sign in book, cake cutters favors etc.) are checked in on your rehearsal day, and our design team will do all the work for you!
(You can create a mock table and we will repeat it).
How do I check to see if my date is available?
The Estate books about 18 months in advance, due to the fact that it is host to One Wedding per Day, and is a Totally Private Venue. It is recommended that you call the coordination office (760-510-1606) and check availability if you have a specific date or time frame. $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your wedding date, credit cards are accepted.
